Here’s the part where I admit that I watch Desperate Housewives still.

I’ve been on this show since it first started in 2004. All through high school and all through college. I know, it’s ridiculous. (But you guyysssz this last season is sooo good!!! No? Ok…) But I have to complain right now.

Julie, Susan’s daughter, is pregnant while in the middle of getting her PhD. She is going through with the pregnancy and giving the baby up for adoption when it is born. She made this decision but her mother will not respect it. First she screams, whines and stomps her feet talking about much she will regret this. (And she won’t regret not getting her PhD?) Then she tries to interfere by sabotaging her relationship with potential adoptive parents. Finally, she finds out who the father is, Porter, Lynette’s son, and decides to help him crusade for the baby. This kid is like 20, living with his mom, doesn’t have a job but is totes down for being a single dad and Susan is freaking out exploiting this and says she’ll help blah blah. The thing is, if this happened, Julie would have to deal with seeing her mom and baby daddy caring for her baby all the time when she didn’t want it in the first place and wanted to give it a stable, loving home. So she comes around for Thanksgving and bam, there is the guilt of being the shitty parent who won’t take care of the kid. So essentially, Susan is forcing her to keep this kid around.

SO MUCH RAGE AT THIS FICTIONAL CHARACTER!

Okay, allow me to be embarrassed for a second as well. I stopped watching this season because I just couldn’t handle it, but I have watched it from the beginning until now.

I caught the episode you’re talking about though, and I was going to make a post on Tumblr about how much it pissed me off…

But I’m not fucking kidding when I say that you just made the post I was going to write.

I was screaming at that idiot with my mom during that episode.

How in the world did Julie (such a level-headed girl) come from such a dumb woman (Susan) while Porter (idiot) came from the only level-headed woman on the show?

(By the way, I stopped watching DH this season because they broke up Lynette and Tom. They were the only real characters left on that show. Everyone else was just absolutely selfish shitty people.)
